About The Position

Independent Home Health is seeking dependable and compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with clients and help them maintain safety, comfort, and independence at home. Prior professional caregiving experience is not required; reliability, patience, and a desire to help others are key.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.
• Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide
