About The Position
This role focuses on providing flexible in-home senior support, specifically for wake-up and bedtime services. The position offers a purpose-driven work environment with a small-team feel, where supervisors are responsive and supportive. There is a path for growth, including opportunities for full-time employment and sponsorship for CNA certification.
Requirements
- Experience as a caregiver, HHA, PCA, or similar role preferred (training available for the right heart).
- Able to follow safety protocols.
- Must be able to transfer clients either with mechanical lifts or pivot transfer.
- Clear, compassionate communicator who respects client privacy.
- Reliable, punctual, and passionate about enriching everyday life for older adults.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
- Prepare simple, nutritious dishes; tidy living spaces and handle light laundry.
- Support gentle walks or therapist-approved stretches.
- Provide medication reminders and note any wellness changes.
- Engage in meaningful companionship, including conversation, games, or outings to appointments and shops.
