About The Position

Koger Home Care, LLC. is seeking a male caregiver for the Northeast Columbia area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in personal care, transfers, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). This role requires comfort working with pets in the home and the ability to provide verbal cues to the client during task completion. The caregiver will assist with various ADLs including showering, bed baths, dressing, mouth care, grooming, medication reminders, incontinence care, and standby assistance. Light housekeeping, companion services, meal preparation, and prescription pick-up are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of verifiable professional caregiver experience.
• Pass the 10-year SC SLED Background Check/Drug Screening.
• Have a negative PPD test.
• Valid SC Driver's License.
• Auto insurance.
• Personal vehicle.
• Must be able to work with pets in the home.
• Open availability from 7 AM - 7 PM.
• Expected to work 2 weekends per month.

Responsibilities

• Perform various ADL assistance including showering, bed baths, dressing, mouth care, grooming care, medication reminders, incontinence care, and standby assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide companion services.

• Provide verbal cues when completing certain tasks.
