Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience required
Reliable transportation
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Ability and willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius of your home address
Ability and willingness to work with both male and female clients
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Supportive, compassionate, and professional approach to client care

Responsibilities

Providing companionship and meaningful social support
Assisting with personal hygiene and daily care, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
Reminding clients to take prescribed medications
Assisting with mobility throughout the home and during outings, including doctor appointments and walks
Planning and preparing meals
Completing client shopping or accompanying clients while shopping
Performing basic housekeeping duties
Reporting unusual incidents and responding quickly and responsibly in emergency situations
Providing activities and assistance that support essential activities of daily living
