About The Position

Griswold Home Care in Central Contra Costa is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as part-time Caregivers. This role involves providing non-medical elderly care and home companionship to local seniors, assisting with tasks such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, bathing, feeding, and providing companionship. The position offers flexible hours and opportunities to work day and night shifts, with client care needs ranging from 4 hours to 24 hours. Requirements

Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols.

Local caregiver for local clients.
Reliable transportation.
Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
Registered to the state (Has HCA number).
2+ years of home care experience; caring for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
Assist clients with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene, including bathing and feeding.
Provide companionship to clients, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments.
Follow care plans and safety protocols.
Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
Communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of clients.
