About The Position

Amada Senior Care provides compassionate, non-medical, in-home care to seniors, including many veterans. They are looking for caring, dependable caregivers to join their growing team. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, offering 4-30 hours per week with available shifts of 4, 8, and 10 hours, including day and morning shifts. A travel requirement of 25% is noted, with caregivers needing to drive within a 25-mile radius of their home to assist clients. The role involves providing companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily living activities, personal care, medication reminders, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients
• Ability to drive within a 25-mile radius
• Compassionate, dependable, and supportive attitude
• Ability to perform all essential job duties

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of caregiving experience

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal care
• Offer medication reminders
• Support mobility (walks, appointments, transfers)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Assist with shopping and errands
• Report unusual incidents or changes in condition
• Help with daily living activities
• Assisting clients with bed care, using medical equipment such as a hoyer lift, gait belt, bed pan, as well as providing personal care.
