About The Position

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join their team and enhance seniors' lives. This role involves one-on-one client interaction, providing non-medical services that enable seniors to age in place in their homes. The position offers flexible shifts and competitive pay, with higher rates for short shifts. Requirements

Must be 18 years old or older.
Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds.
Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Must be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one.

Responsibilities

Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for clients in their homes.
Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Plan and prepare meals.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed.
Help with medication as required.
Provide transportation for appointments and errands.
