About The Position

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join their team and enhance seniors' lives. This role involves one-on-one client interaction, providing non-medical services to enable seniors to age in place in their homes. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for relationship building with clients.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for our clients in their homes
• Personal hygiene including but not limited to bathing, grooming and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed
• Help with medication as required
• Transportation for appointments and errands
