About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Caregiver in Jefferson, Georgia. The role provides quality care and support to clients, helping them with daily needs while treating each person with dignity, patience, and respect. The position is full-time and follows a weekday schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. At least three years of caregiving experience is required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of caregiving experience.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
- Must meet applicable background check and hiring requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.
- Support safe mobility and transfers as appropriate.
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan and company policies.
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions.
- Follow care plans and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
