About The Position

Abernathy Home Care is hosting an in-person hiring event for various caregiver positions, including Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Homemakers, and Heavy Chore Workers. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 7, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at their Stoneham office. This is an opportunity to meet the recruiting team, learn about openings, and interview for positions serving clients in Middlesex and Essex Counties. They are looking for both experienced caregivers and individuals looking to start a career in home care. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with pay ranging from $19 to $21 per hour depending on the position.

Requirements

• HHA, PCA, or CNA certification required for applicable caregiver positions
• Homemaker and Heavy Chore positions do not require certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes
• Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Helping clients safely move throughout their homes
• Grocery shopping, errands, and homemaking services
• Following individualized care plans
• Reporting changes in client condition to the care team
• Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes
