About The Position

Amaray Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on physical assistance and emotional support to a client who is unable to care for himself due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate treats the client and his home with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect — staying attentive and empathetic at all times. A Male Caregiver is preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in home health care
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to manually transfer or lift clients

Responsibilities

• Assist a client who cannot walk independently and is at high risk for falls
• Provide hands-on support with walking, transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Ensure the client’s safety at all times
• Assist with feeding
• Provide medication reminders and assistance as prescribed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support to promote the client’s overall well-being
• Take an active interest in the client’s growth and engagement
