We are especially seeking caregivers who are open to ongoing weekend shifts and daytime shifts. TOP PAY RATES - $22-25 per hour. Currently hiring for weekend coverage, weekday day shifts, and overnights. Full-time and part-time available.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience
- Alzheimer's or Dementia experience
- Empathy, compassion and kindness a MUST
- Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations
- Must be reliable, dependable and on time
- At least 18 years of age
- Basic computer skills
- Driver for clients (with vehicle, car insurance and registration)
- Must comply with state background screening requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Assist clients 1:1 with personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
- Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
- Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support
