About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care is hiring a caregiver for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Inver Grove Heights. Caregivers provide personalized, person-centered support to residents. The role is open to experienced or newly certified candidates with a heart for senior care. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center, with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership.

The position is listed for the PM shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The posting also notes part-time availability and states that all part-time and full-time shifts must be available every other weekend.

Requirements

• At least six months of caregiving experience; Assisted Living or Memory Care experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
• Must be available to work every other weekend for part-time and full-time shifts.
• Excellent communication, empathy, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• Assisted Living or Memory Care caregiving experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
• Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
