Caregiver - Saturday / Sunday| Dog Lovers Only
About The Position
Home care needed for an older individual living with dementia, who also has a dog named Midnight. The primary role is ensuring seniors are socially engaged, have fun with movement, are cognitively challenged, and find joy during their day. This position involves assisting the client in their home with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry, as well as ensuring the dog, Midnight, is well-cared for. Additionally, there may be duties at an adult day center, including leading activities, serving meals, playing games, art, music, engaging in conversation, and driving company vehicles to transport seniors to and from the Day Care Center. This role is part of a team environment and may include other duties necessary in Day Center operations, including light housekeeping.
Requirements
- Love dogs.
- Possess a valid GA State Driver's License with a clean record.
- Possess a valid TB Clearance.
- Have at least 1 year of Caregiving Experience or CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP.
- Willingness to drive.

- 1 year of Senior Care / Activities Experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide supportive assistance and supervision in the home.
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparations, and laundry.
- Ensure the dog, Midnight, is well-cared for.
- Lead vibrant activities developed by the director at the adult day center.
- Serve meals, play games, engage in art, music, and conversation.
- Drive company vehicles to transport seniors to and from the Day Care Center.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
- Perform other duties necessary in Day Center operations, including light housekeeping.
