About The Position

Exhava Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to support older adults in their homes. Caregivers help clients maintain dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life by providing assistance based on individual care plans. The position serves male clients and includes personal care, companionship, meal preparation, household tasks, errands, and transportation when required. Caregivers follow care plans and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.

Requirements

Prior caregiving experience.
Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
Current TB test result or chest X-ray, as required by applicable regulations.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license and active auto insurance.
Able and willing to travel 30 or more minutes to work when needed.
Compassionate, patient, respectful, gentle, and attentive to client needs.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and professionally.
Flexible and adaptable to different clients and home environments.

Responsibilities

Assist male clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding when needed, and hydration.
Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and linen changes.
Assist clients with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when required.
Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
Promote client dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.
