About The Position
Caregiving to the elderly is spending quality time, one-on-one with seniors. It is all about building relationships and connections with clients, while providing professional care as required. It is a job where you are encouraged to slow down, take your time, and connect with people, not just rush to complete tasks. Clients enlist caregiving help because they have either a physical need, or a cognitive change and they’ll need your help with some tasks.
Requirements
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Background Check
- Experience working with the elderly
Responsibilities
- bathing/showering
- dressing, personal hygiene
- toileting and incontinence care
- preparing meals
- light housekeeping
- laundry
- grocery shopping
- accompanying to clients to appointments
