About The Position

Starkey supports adults with disabilities to live full, safe, and satisfying lives. They operate multiple group homes across the Wichita area. This role involves supporting individuals with daily living and personal goals, teaching life skills, assisting with personal care and household tasks, building relationships, and participating in community activities. Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or WorkKeys Bronze
• Valid driver's license (2+ years preferred)
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings
• Available for 2–4 weeks of paid training (M–F, 8:30–5:00)

• Spanish or ASL bilingual skills

Responsibilities

• Support adults with disabilities and behavioral challenges in everyday activities
• Teach and encourage life skills that promote independence and confidence
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and basic household tasks
• Build meaningful relationships through conversation, activities, and outings
• Participate in fun, community-based activities like local sporting events, Botanica Gardens, and holiday celebrations
