About The Position

Parc Center for Disabilities provides opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities to exercise their independence and experience life to the fullest. Our vision is a community where all individuals live with dignity and are treated with respect. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and community-focused Caregiver Relief Manager to lead a vital respite program supporting children with disabilities and their families. By connecting families with quality respite services and community resources, this program helps strengthen families and reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Program Manager will oversee daily operations, supervise a primarily off-site workforce, maintain program quality and contract compliance, and expand the program’s reach throughout the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, early intervention, behavior modification, childcare, or a related field; or an associate degree with at least four years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays, particularly children and families in at-risk environments.
  • Experience supervising and organizing a large, community-based or remote workforce.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and adaptable approach with a genuine desire to improve services and processes.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other electronic systems.
  • Ability to observe and respond to children’s needs, lift up to 40 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children in a variety of settings.
  • Reliable transportation and countywide travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • A valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the Caregiver Relief Program and ensure children and families receive consistent, high-quality services.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support Caregiver Relief Providers who work throughout the community.
  • Supervise the social worker assigned to the program.
  • Monitor referrals and manage the program waitlist to support timely and appropriate access to services.
  • Administer Parc’s assessment tools during intake and at required follow-up intervals.
  • Maintain program quality through utilization management, quality-assurance activities, and ongoing review of service delivery.
  • Manage the BayCare grant, including compliance, reporting, program outcomes, and overall performance.
  • Prepare reports regarding program activities, performance measures, and outcomes.
  • Build relationships with caregivers, referral sources, service providers, and community partners.
  • Lead community outreach and marketing efforts to increase awareness of the program.
  • Partner with Parc’s Development team to identify and secure additional funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to prepare and monitor the program’s annual and monthly budgets.
  • Plan and oversee group respite events, summer camp, and other program activities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the program and respond to the changing needs of children and families.
  • Provide after-hours support when program needs require it.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
