Caregiver (RA) (CNA)- Full and Part Time Evening
About The Position
The Resident Assistant (RA) provides services that maintain and support residents’ activities of daily living under the supervision of a Nurse. The role requires strong customer service and treating residents with courtesy, dignity, and respect. The position is offered full-time and part-time for evening shifts. High-school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; one year of nursing or resident assistant care experience in senior services is preferred. Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal directions in English.
- Basic computer skills and experience with, or ability to learn, electronic health record systems.
- Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to be flexible with hours, shift schedules, and assignments.
Nice To Haves
- High-school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- One year of nursing or resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other designated care.
- Assist residents in dining.
- Perform homemaking tasks.
- Respond to and report changes in residents’ health status and recommendations for changes to residents’ plans of care.
- Complete thorough daily charting.
- Collaborate with other community team members to deliver The Waters Way.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
