About The Position
We are looking for dedicated Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team and provide quality, compassionate support to our clients throughout Hartford County. You will provide compassionate personal care and daily living assistance, assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed, provide companionship and emotional support, assist with light housekeeping and other household tasks, and support clients with their daily routines while promoting independence and dignity. You will also communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team, follow care plans and report changes in a client's condition when appropriate, and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Previous home care or senior care experience.
- Experience caring for clients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, organized, and dependable.
- Compassionate and professional.
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care.
- Commitment to maintaining client privacy, dignity, and safety.
Nice To Haves
- CNA or PCA certification preferred.
- Experience using a Hoyer Lift and gait belt is a plus.
Responsibilities
