About The Position

We are looking for dedicated Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team and provide quality, compassionate support to our clients throughout Hartford County. This role involves providing personal care and daily living assistance to seniors and individuals in need of care, helping them remain safe and comfortable in their homes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Previous home care or senior care experience.
• Experience caring for clients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, organized, and dependable.
• Compassionate and professional.
• Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care.
• Commitment to maintaining client privacy, dignity, and safety.

Nice To Haves

• CNA or PCA certification preferred.
• Experience using a Hoyer Lift and gait belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and daily living assistance.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and other household tasks.
• Support clients with their daily routines while promoting independence and dignity.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and members of the care team.
• Follow care plans and report changes in a client's condition when appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
