About The Position

Allegro Hyde Park is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Resident Assistant / Caregiver to join our Assisted Living community on the 3rd Shift (Overnights). This role is ideal for individuals looking for a consistent overnight schedule, offering supplemental income while making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. While residents sleep, you will ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night. Requirements

Minimum of 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year of related health care experience required.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Must adhere to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Previous Assisted Living or senior care experience preferred.
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to help others.
Ability to work overnight shifts and alternating weekends.
Passion for serving seniors.
Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state.
May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) depending on the state requirements, if licensed or certified must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care services as scheduled, under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RSD) in Assisted Living areas, maintaining a positive physical and social environment.
Approach all encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, medicinal reminders, and incontinence care.
Keep proper records of care, including a resident service plan and documenting services provided.
Be familiar with the resident service plan and document all services provided.
Work closely and maintain daily communications with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care and services for residents.
Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
Support the programming and operations of the neighborhood.
Perform additional job duties as assigned.
