Join us as a Caregiver in our Memory Care unit, where your role will make a difference every day! Enjoy an amazing schedule of part-time swing (Friday, Saturday Sunday 2 pm - 10:30 pm), allowing you to keep your life balanced while providing heartfelt care. With a competitive pay range of $17.00 to $18.35 per hour based on experience, your dedication will be rewarded as you help seniors find joy in their day-to-day lives. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Knowledgeable and adhere to a resident's service plans.
  • Maintains residents' dignity by providing privacy and confidentiality.
  • Effectively engage and communicate with elderly individuals.
  • Exhibit patience, tact, and willingness to handle challenging situations.
  • Foster positivity and actively engage in daily problem-solving.
  • Ability to accurately document activities of daily living.
  • Compassionate bedside manner and empathy toward residents.
  • Heimlich Maneuver training within the first 120 days.
  • Understanding of and commitment to residents rights and dignity.
  • First aid certification and Food handler's card within first 120 days of employment.
  • Criminal background check is required for new hires.
  • Fingerprints may be required as part of the check.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with hygiene and general care of residents' skin, nails, hair, eyes, ears, mouth, and face.
  • Helping residents perform activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Responding promptly to call lights to maintain resident comfort.
  • Monitoring health status and documenting vital signs, fluid, and nutritional intake.
  • Supporting mobility and positioning, ensuring safety devices are used effectively.
  • Encouraging resident participation in activities.
  • Creating delicious meals.
  • Performing general housekeeping tasks to keep their environment cheerful and inviting.
