About The Position

ELDERS INN IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A FULL-TIME PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT (PCA) AND MED AIDE FOR THE OVERNIGHT SHIFT! The primary functions of a PCA are to help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily living tasks, respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining resident privacy and personal dignity, monitor resident activity and functional status, and assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort. Med Aides are additionally responsible for assisting with medication management. This is a full-time position that works some shifts as a caregiver and some shifts as a med aide. Elders Inn is a licensed 52-suite assisted living community where each day offers a variety of experiences in the company of friends. Elders Inn offers every resident the opportunity to live as independently as possible, accommodating assistive equipment, including wheelchairs, with short distances to dining, activities, and enchanting courtyards. Requirements

Highschool diploma or equivalent
Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
Ability to follow written and oral directions
Basic computer skills (care programing is computer based)
Ability to lift 150 pounds
Current COVID-19 vaccination
Routine COVID tests
Physical
TB test
Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice
