About The Position

This role involves providing care for a senior couple in the Franklin area, with a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 11 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
  • Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
  • Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
  • Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
  • Consent to drug and alcohol testing
  • TB test
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality required
  • Comfortable assisting with mobility and fall risk clients
  • Patient, attentive, and respectful of client independence

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide standby assistance with mobility, transfers, and toileting
  • Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Offer medication reminders and follow daily routines
  • Prepare and serve meals/snacks; encourage hydration
  • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, bed making, bathroom upkeep)
  • Support catheter care (emptying/cleaning as needed)
  • Monitor for changes in condition and report to family
  • Provide companionship and engagement (conversation, light activities)
  • Assist with safe ambulation (client uses walker/cane)
