About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care for a client in Pepper Pike. This is a great opportunity for caregivers looking for consistent part-time hours, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in someone's life. Available Shifts Morning Shifts 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM Needed: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and every other Sunday Evening Shifts 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Needed: Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of caregiving or direct care experience preferred
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide personal care, bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Follow the client's individualized plan of care
