About The Position
Amada Senior Care is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to join their team. As a caregiver, you will provide compassionate, in-home support that helps elderly clients maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation every single day
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Supportive and compassionate
- MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF CAREGIVING EXPERIENCE
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home companionship to elderly clients
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication
- Help with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.
- Plan and prepare meals
- Complete the client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Perform basic housekeeping duties
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living
