As a caregiver, you will provide compassionate, in-home support that helps elderly clients maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.

Requirements

2 years of caregiving experience
Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation every single day
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment

Responsibilities

Provide in-home companionship to elderly clients
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
Remind clients to take prescribed medication
Help with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.
Plan and prepare meals
Complete the client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
Perform basic housekeeping duties
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Offer activities that are essential for daily living
