Caregiver / Home Care Aide – Start This Week
About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Home Care Aides to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and veterans. The goal is to empower clients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. This role offers flexible scheduling, part-time opportunities, and a supportive work environment where caregivers are valued and celebrated. The position involves building meaningful connections, assisting with personal care, medication reminders, mobility, errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and reporting changes in client conditions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to travel within a 20-mile radius and surrounding areas
- Can pass a background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working with both male and female clients
- Bring a compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude every day
Nice To Haves
- Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt
Responsibilities
- Building meaningful connections through companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing medication reminders
- Helping with mobility, errands, and appointments
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in clients' conditions
- Encouraging independence and supporting daily routines
