About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers/Home Care Aides to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and veterans, enabling them to live safely and independently. This role offers flexible scheduling, part-time opportunities, and a supportive work environment where caregivers are valued and celebrated. The position involves building meaningful connections, assisting with personal care, providing medication reminders, supporting daily living activities, and reporting any changes in client conditions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to travel within a 20-mile radius and surrounding areas
- Can pass a background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working with both male and female clients
Nice To Haves
- Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt
Responsibilities
- Building meaningful connections through companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing medication reminders
- Helping with mobility, errands, and appointments
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in clients' conditions
- Encouraging independence and supporting daily routines
