About The Position

Ark Resource Group is assisting one of our verified employment partners in hiring a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant for a long-term assignment in a private family residence in Miramar, Florida. The selected caregiver will provide companionship, supervision, safety monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities.

Requirements

• Must speak and understand English
• Must be comfortable working in a private home with dogs
• Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive
• Must be able to work 13-hour shifts
• Must have reliable transportation to the Miramar area
• Must be available for a consistent, long-term assignment
• Must be able to follow written and verbal care instructions
• Background screening or additional onboarding requirements may apply

Nice To Haves

• HHA or CNA credentials are preferred
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and continuous supervision
• Assist the client with daily routines and activities of daily living as needed
• Support the client’s safety, comfort, and independence
• Provide behavioral support using patience, consistency, and clear communication
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s behavior, condition, or routine
• Follow the family’s established care plan and household procedures
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with the client and family members
• Assist with light client-related household tasks as assigned
• Remain attentive and engaged throughout the scheduled shift
