About The Position

Monarch Communities Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Full-Time or Part-Time Caregivers (HHA/CNA). We are committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. This role involves assisting residents in all aspects of their daily lives as indicated in their care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The salary range for this position is $21.00 - $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year resident care experience preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
  • Able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident care to residents that include bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in their care plan.
  • Respect the needs of team members and residents by adhering to schedule and documenting attendance properly.
  • Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents.
  • Encourage and escort (when needed) residents to meals and activities.
  • Ensure all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
  • Document all services provided in ALIS EHR for your assigned residents during your shift.
  • Monitor and report any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor.
  • Appropriately utilize and keep electronic documentation “devices” safe and secure within the community; efficiently document care/services provided during the shift.
  • Participate in and attend all in-service trainings as scheduled.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
  • Provide basic housekeeping and/or laundry services when needed.
  • May be asked to obtain weights and vitals of residents and document same per RN request.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor, RN, and/or ED.
