Caregiver (HHA/CNA)- Full Time
About The Position
Brandywine Living at Mahwah by Monarch Communities is seeking a Full Time Caregiver (HHA/CNA) to join their team. This role involves providing compassionate personal care services, support, and companionship to residents. The Caregiver will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitor changes in their condition and care needs to update their care plans, and encourage participation in community programs and activities. The position is located in Mahwah, NJ, with open shifts available from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. The hourly rate ranges from $20.31 to $21.31.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year resident care experience required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
- Able to speak, read and write in English.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population.
- Preferred dementia experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
