About The Position
Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate individuals to provide in-home senior care services. This role involves offering companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain a comfortable and enriching life in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a vibrant personality and exceptional skills to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities.
Requirements
- Cell phone with internet access
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Previous experience assisting seniors with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, walking, transferring)
Nice To Haves
- Certifications (e.g. CNA license, PCA certificate, BLS, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting), meal prep, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Providing transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
- Providing specialized care including Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, and Hospice Care.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
