About The Position
HomeWell Care Services seeks a caregiver to provide compassionate, individualized in-home support to seniors. Caregivers work one-on-one with clients to help them maintain independence and quality of life, while building meaningful relationships in a supportive and respectful work environment. The role offers flexible schedules, competitive pay, and ongoing training. The position serves Temple, Belton, Killeen, Fort Hood, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Salado, Cameron, and Rockdale.
Requirements
- At least one year of professional caregiving experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, or a related setting.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license; caregivers must travel reliably to clients’ homes for scheduled shifts.
- Availability to work different shifts as needed.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to clients.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, including meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation.
- Provide minor pet care when needed.
