About The Position
Waves is hiring a part-time residential Caregiver / Direct Support Professional to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live meaningful, independent lives. The role provides support with daily living, activities, community engagement, and life-skill development while maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment. Employees follow individualized care plans and work as part of a team. Training is provided. The position requires in-person work and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to work in person.
Responsibilities
- Provide support with daily living and activities.
- Help individuals build independence and life skills.
- Assist with community outings and engagement.
- Create a safe, respectful, and positive environment.
- Follow individualized care plans with the team.
