About The Position

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a client in Elkins Park, PA. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support and ensure the safety and well-being of the client at all times.

Client Needs & Responsibilities:

Assist with mobility; client uses a walker
Provide supervision at all times (client has Alzheimer’s and may wander)
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
Bathing
Dressing
Meal preparation
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping
Provide companionship and ensure a safe environment

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving or working with clients with Alzheimer’s/dementia preferred
• Patient, attentive, and compassionate
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions
• Must be able to assist with mobility support
