About The Position

AmanaCare provides personalized, non-medical in-home assistance to seniors and people with disabilities. The Caregiver Companion provides hands-on, one-on-one support in clients’ homes, offering companionship and practical help with daily activities. The role is suited to people who value service and meaningful work, and does not require a healthcare background. Flexible schedules are available.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Have a high-school diploma or GED.
• Have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Reside in Nebraska.
• Have a caring, compassionate, and dependable approach to serving others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in residential care or work as a CNA, medication aide, case worker, paraprofessional, registered behavior technician, or direct support professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one companionship.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Give medication reminders.
• Assist with bathing and dressing.
• Run errands and provide transportation.
• Assist with transfers and mobility.
• Provide pet assistance.
