About The Position

The Caregiver & Community Programs Supervisor leads the daily operations and performance of key Community Services programs, including the Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP), CSS GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience), Options Counseling (OC), and the Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Transitions in Care program. This role supervises staff, ensures compliance with applicable regulations and contracts, and oversees service delivery in alignment with program and agency standards. The Supervisor manages a multidisciplinary team across programs with varying funding sources, regulatory requirements, workflows, and reporting expectations, requiring the ability to navigate program differences while maintaining consistent quality and accountability. The Supervisor may also oversee smaller programs, pilot initiatives, and emerging grant-funded projects as assigned. The position requires the ability to shift priorities, balance competing demands, and build structure as new initiatives and grant-funded projects are introduced.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in older adult services or a related field required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Options Counseling, Family Caregiver Support, CSS GUIDE, and BCBS Transitions in Care programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and contractual requirements, including AAA designation standards.
  • Monitor service delivery, caseloads, and workflows to promote quality and efficiency.
  • Identify service gaps and implement improvements across programs.
  • Partner with the Community Services Director to develop and update program policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Oversee smaller programs, pilot initiatives, and emerging projects as assigned.
  • Oversee implementation of the Savvy Caregiver evidence-based program, including fidelity, staff training, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with community partners and providers to support coordinated service delivery.
  • Address complex or escalated participant and service issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Monitor program resources and support responsible use of funding.
  • Supervise staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and ongoing development.
  • Manage all aspects of staffing, including hiring, onboarding, training, cross-training, and performance management.
  • Set clear expectations and ensure staff accountability to program and service standards.
  • Develop and maintain cross-training plans to ensure coverage and continuity of services across programs.
  • Monitor program performance and documentation to support strong outcomes in reviews and ongoing monitoring.
  • Participate in all necessary Quality Assurance efforts and lead corrective action efforts as needed.
