About The Position

Overture Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to assist seniors at a senior living facility in Sachse, TX. The role involves providing personalized care through multiple short visits throughout the facility. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday in split shifts: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM and 4:00 PM–8:30 PM, totaling 18 hours per weekend, with weekday availability as well. The position offers a consistent weekend schedule and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in seniors’ lives.

Requirements

• Dependable and punctual, and comfortable working independently.
• Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills.
• Available for both shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide toileting assistance, incontinence care, and brief changes as needed.
• Assist with safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility, including the use of walkers, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices.
• Assist residents with getting in and out of bed and preparing for daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and attentive care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans and accurately document services provided.
