About The Position
As a Caregiver/ CNA at Stay in Home Care, you will be responsible for providing assistance to individuals in their daily activities and personal care needs in a home setting. Stay in Home Care & Medical Staffing is now hiring Home Health Aids to assist in our Home Health department. We are growing our team! Available shift times vary depending on the client's needs. Hours can be flexible! Provide compassionate care and assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring comfort and safety. Support individuals with disabilities and seniors in their daily routines, fostering independence and dignity.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Experience in caregiving or healthcare field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Must have reliable transportation and current valid driver's license if applicable.
- Proof of automobile insurance
Nice To Haves
- CNA preferred but not required
- Familiarity with various types of disabilities preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication as prescribed
- Assist with housekeeping and meal preparation
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient health and behavior, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
