About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Caregiver to provide essential in-home care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily activities. The Home Caregiver helps improve clients’ quality of life through companionship, personal care, and support that enables them to maintain independence in their own homes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if required for the job.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred but not required.
Previous caregiving experience is a plus.
CPR and First Aid certification; these can be obtained after hiring.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while preserving their dignity and privacy.
Help clients follow their prescribed medication schedules and provide medication reminders as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support through conversations, games, and reading.
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences, and assist clients with eating when necessary.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and mobility aids as required.
Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental condition to appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.
Maintain accurate records of care, daily activities, observations, and incidents.
Encourage clients’ independence while providing assistance and support as needed.
