Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
Consent to drug and alcohol testing
TB test

Nice To Haves

Experience with clients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Sundowner's, Chronic UTI's, Incontinence issues, and Fall risk.
Experience assisting clients with bilateral hearing loss and edema in lower legs.

Responsibilities

Assist client with mobility, including transfers using a gait belt and walker, and potentially a transport chair.
Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
Prepare and serve meals, ensuring the client is hydrated and checking for expired foods.
Engage with the client in activities like watching TV, playing cards, or doing puzzles.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Assist the client with recommended exercises, ensuring her legs are elevated when sitting.
Accompany the client to doctor's appointments or errands as needed.
Monitor for cleanliness of gown and bed.
Maintain a running grocery list.
