About The Position

At Amada Senior Care, we are looking for experienced caregivers who are passionate about helping others and providing exceptional care. As a caregiver, you will provide personalized, one-on-one care to help seniors live safely and independently in their homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily tasks, mobility, personal care, and companionship, while building meaningful relationships.

Requirements

At least 2 years of healthcare or in-home caregiving experience.
Experience with Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfers, and ambulation.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Current auto insurance.
Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of home.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Comfortable working with both male and female clients.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Aid with mobility, including transfers and ambulation using gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
Offer companionship and engage in activities with clients.
Perform light housekeeping and run errands as needed.
Build meaningful relationships with clients.
