About The Position

The caregiver works in a client’s home, assisting elderly or disabled individuals with daily care. The role includes helping with activities of daily living, communicating care updates, collaborating with clients and family members, maintaining a comfortable living environment, and documenting care and activities at the end of each shift. The posting lists work in Buford, Georgia, with a Monday–Sunday schedule of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay information is inconsistent: the headline lists $17–$18 per hour, while other sections list $16–$17 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field.
• Ability to build rapport with clients, family members, other caregivers, and staff.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.
• Ability to document care and use the Home Care Assistance software required by the state for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties.
• Collaborate with clients and family members to support appropriate care.
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.
• Assist with other home care activities as needed or as specified in the care plan.
• Document care and ADLs at the end of each shift.
