About The Position

This role involves providing direct care to clients in their homes, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The caregiver will be responsible for a range of tasks including personal care, household management, and documentation, while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor. The position requires adaptability to various home environments and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Be a reliable and effective team player.
• Display ability to be self-directed and show initiative with client care.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically without direct supervision.
• Understanding and empathetic attitude toward client and families.
• Good communication skills and a helpful attitude.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s License in good standing.
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
• Two years of continuous work experience.
• One year of previous patient care experience.
• New Grad CNA's are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic personal care functions.
• Perform good housekeeping and home management skills.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to the care plan, which may include specialized diets.
• Adjust to varying home situations.
• Use computer software and smartphones for education, scheduling, and care plan documentation.
• Represent the company professionally with excellent customer service.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and office staff.
• Escalate issues when appropriate.
