Caregiver CNA CMA Full Time
About The Position
Iris Memory Care of NW OKC is looking for Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join their team. This is a full-time position in a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 54 residents, located in NW OKC. The community focuses on providing compassionate care to residents with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, allowing them to live with dignity, comfort, and joy. The role involves providing hands-on care, assisting with daily living activities, supporting life enrichment programs, and maintaining a clean environment, all while upholding resident dignity and individuality.
Requirements
- Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable work history — consistency matters deeply to our residents
- Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred
- Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
- Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, compassionate care that helps residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
- Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment.
- Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
- Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.
