About The Position
Certified Medication Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant at Bristol Glen, a UMC Community in Newton, NJ. Earn $23.00 to $25.55 an hour, plus $2.00 more per hour on evening shifts, as a part-time Certified Medication Aide. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification
- Current and active New Jersey CNA certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and on time under RN supervision and in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor blood glucose levels and assist with insulin administration as directed by individual care plans
- Observe residents for medication effectiveness or concerns and maintain thorough documentation
- Serve as a supportive point of contact for residents and families, communicating any changes or concerns to the nursing team
- Manage incoming medication deliveries and ensure proper storage and organization of pharmacy supplies
