About The Position

The Denver Waldorf School is seeking to fill the role of our Caregiver/Child Program Teacher for our Sweet Pea Program. Candidates must be experienced in working with young children, in tandem with their caregivers, to inform and enrich the lives of these families with Waldorf and child development education.

Requirements

• Waldorf Early childhood Education training.
• Capability of designing appropriate curriculum and program that represents The Denver Waldorf School and its ideals.
• The ability to work well in a collegial setting.
• The ability to communicate clearly and regularly with parents.

Responsibilities

• Running each session according to curriculum.
• Interacting closely with the group of children and their caregivers.
• Purchasing materials and supplies.
• Nurturing and tending the domestic and artistic life of the classroom.
• Caring for the greater classroom environment.
• Supporting and providing an atmosphere of security, warmth, and joy.
