About The Position

The Ridge Foothill is seeking part-time Caregivers / Care Partners to join their team. No certification is needed as training will be provided, and the company will pay for CNA classes and certification if interested. The role involves providing resident-centered personal care, assisting with transfers and mobility, ensuring a positive dining experience, and documenting resident care. Requirements

  • Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
  • Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Minimum age of 16.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident centered personal care including bathroom assistance, washing, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, and social support
  • Assist residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
  • Deliver a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks and supplements
  • Document resident care and behavior
